Program Overview
View Program InformationThe Fairfax Renaissance Housing Corporation, a nonprofit in the city, partners with MainStreet Bank to offer the Neighborhood Renaissance Program.
This program helps City of Fairfax residents renovate their homes.
Eligible homes must show at least one of the following conditions.
- Interior or exterior deterioration
- Functional obsolescence
- Missing common features found in newer homes (e.g., primary bedroom suites, two-car garages)
Loan features:
Loans are not income-sensitive and are available for owner-occupied:
- Single-family detached homes
- Townhouses
- Duplexes
- Condominiums
