OLD TOWN SQUARE

       

Old Town Square opened on May 4, 2015.  This park, located in Historic Old Town Fairfax, is host to events as well as a place for residents and visitors alike to enjoy the downtown area. Please check below the pictures of the Park's progress - what it was and what it has now become!

 December 2014 - Asphalt for the new parking area begins  to be laid.

  

 

 

 

 

                                 February 1 2015 - Some of the new light poles and trees are in, a tent is built to allow the stonework to be built.  

   

 

                            

 

              

 

February 3, 2015  - Underneath the tent the stonework for the waterfall continues

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

March 2015 - Brick work continues and dirt is starting to be moved into place to prepare for irrigation installment.

 

 

 

 

 

    

 

 

April 1st, 2015 - The splash pad is up and working, and being tested

 

 

 

 

 

      

 

 

 

April 21, 2015 - Brick work is being laid in the parking lot next to Old Town Hall.
