Fall Festival Road Closures

*Includes closures for buses, e-scooters, and bicycles*

From 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM

• Route 236/Main Street between West and East streets; traffic detoured to North Street.

• University Drive between North and Armstrong Street; traffic detoured to Route 123/Chain Bridge Road via North Street

• Sager Avenue between Route 123/Chain Bridge Road and South Street; traffic detoured to North Street

• CUE Bus Detour: CUE Buses will detour from George Mason Drive and University Drive to Chain Bridge Road.

Fall Festival Parking

Accessible Parking is located at:

• Old Town Village Parking Garage - 3925 Chain Bridge Road

• City Hall - 10455 Armstrong Street (Access via Chain Bridge Rd.)

Public Parking is located at:

• The Judicial Center Parking Garage B - 10577-10553 Page Avenue

• Old Town Village Parking Garage - 3925 Chain Bridge Road

Shuttle Buses will run from 9:30AM - 5:30PM
*All Shuttles Buses are free & accessible*

Shuttle Bus Locations:

• George Mason University Rappahannock Parking Deck - 4393 University Dr., Fairfax (closest address to the deck)

  • Please visit GMU Map for more specifics on Rappahannock Parking Deck Location (41). There is no charge for parking at George Mason Rappahannock Parking Deck on the day of Fall Festival.

• Fairfax High School - 3501 Lion Run

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to ongoing maintenance to one side of the Rappahannock Garage, the south entrance will be closed. The garage can still be accessed from the northern entrance. Please be on the lookout for signage that will direct drivers accordingly.

Free Bike & Stroller Valet

10am - 5pm
Drop off your bike or stroller in a secure location while you pursue the festival!

All bikes and strollers must be picked up by 5pm. The city is not responsible for what happens to any remaining items left after 5pm.

Valet Locations:

• Old Town Square - 10415 North St., Fairfax (located inside the festival area on the grass). 

• University Dr., and Armstrong St. (located just inside the entrance to the festival area).
