Fairfax City Splash Pad at Old Town Square

SPLASH PAD UPDATE 7/8/2025

The replacement of the Old Town Square splashpad has taken longer than anticipated.  However, we are happy to announce that we are nearing the finish line. City staff have completed the installation and electrical work.  On Tuesday, July 8th, a specialized technician arrived in Fairfax to program and calibrate the splashpad.  This process is estimated to take 5 days - without any weather delays.

When complete, the Splash Pad will re-open to the public.  We thank everyone for their patience as they have waited for this beloved facility to open.  Many of our challenges with the replacement have stemmed from attempting to retrofit a new system into the space left by the previous now obsolete system.
